I had a thought today: it doesn’t matter what kind of job you had, what you looked like, who you were friends with and close to, how many people you slept with, how much money you had. None of that matters. What matters is simply how much love you gave, how many lives you touched, how much kindness you exhibited. All that counts is how much love you gave, everything else, down to the house you lived in or how much you weighed, is meaningless.
Neil Young wrote, “Love and only love, will endure.” How right the man was.
