i'm hella sick, yo. serious head cold. not working tomorrow. i should be given an award for surviving my sickness today. i had a pounding, cranial wall to cranial wall headache, the kind where it hurts to talk or think or read or move. and i taught 8th graders all day. we read a story aloud and discussed it, we played a review vocab game. i had to ask a kid in each class to yell for me at the students b/c i could not do it.

then again, at least i have my arms and legs. and a few great friends who make the loneliness bearable.
