Congradulations go out to Dan for his recent short story publication!

A weekend in Michigan. A week in Cape Cod. Three days in Laffayette. Two days in Iowa. Wisconsin next weekend. I'm starting to like this traveling thing. Jeff was right when he said that traveling is addictive. Spending time in so many new places makes the home life seem dull and boring, mediocre at best. The next trip can't come soon enough.

The writing is coming. I wrote 10,000 words in my week on the Cape and read four books there. Enough stimuli surrounded me there that Falmouth, Wood's Hole, and Martha's Vineyard will work their ways into a story or two somehow. I smelled creativity in the air, though that could have been salt water from the Atlantic. Sailing during sunset, my first nude beach experience, it goes on. I will endeavor to return there.
