Dan and I went from the canyons of Moab, Utah to the Rocky Mountains in one day, from 90 degrees of punishing sun to 51 degrees of cold rain at 10,000 feet elevation. I took this in Golden Gate S.P. on a trail we hiked soon after arriving in the early evening. I loved everything about the Rockies.
