Bits of randomness conceived while forcing myself to listen to another dreadful presentation/lecture...

  • Where else does one see a term such as "transnational" besides higher ed? Do researches sit around making up new compound words? Must be a professorship requirement to give difficult names to easier concepts.
  • What would it be like to be part of a dying culture?
  • Why do razor blades (for shaving) cost so much damn money? What the hell? It's a tiny little blade that goes dull the instant it touches skin and replacements run more than the GNP of small countries. Baffling. Congressional hearings anyone?
  • Every religion/culture must have its own belief system that, from the outside, looks messed up.

'Transnational' sounds like something Dan would refer to while masticating in his closet. And as for the razor blades, it is because Keebler elves make em.

I guess you don't comment on here anymore, so my previous comment was a waste. Oh well, GO CUBS!
