I have, at my core, optimism. I have hope. i'm clinging to it now with a harder grip than ever. Hope is what allows to me to get up in morning and go to work in the ghetto and make no difference in the lives of young people. Hope is what allows me to keep seraching for a good, suburban teaching job while constantly being rejected by schools. Hope is what forces me to believe there are some women out there that I could have a great time with. Its all I have to keep me going. Its all anyone can have, really. Its all there is.
