Large, open spaces of carpeting make me happy. I decided that I don't like having lots of furniture in a room. Instead, I prefer adequent furniture coverage while maximizing carpet space. My whole life I have liked to sit or lay down on the rug. I remember playing with MicroMachines and Matchbox cars on the floor, zooming them under and around chairs. When friends come over, I don't have enough furniture seating, so someone ends up on the floor, but the odd thing is that as the evening goes on the floor seems to become more attractive to people as a seating option. I'm glad I have small furntiure and too much open space. I like the feeling of vastness. I like freshly vacuumed carpet you can lay on...that makes me happy.
