so it had to happen. i finally bought a car today, a replacement for the corolla, sadly killed in my car accident in may. i like the new car, but i don't love it. perhaps that will come with time, or perhaps it will be just okay for the next few years. i do feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders and that I can finally move on to something else rather important and life-altering, a teaching job for next year.
things i've realized lately: 1) i want to be a full-time writer churing out fiction and prose
2) i want to own my own business and work it full time. no clue what it would be, but i want to do it some day.
3) i want to learn everything about my car and take the mystery out of what's underneath the hood
4) that living a structured life, 9-5, or as a teacher say, 730-3, isn't what i want to do for the next 30 years.
5) that i value my freedom enough to refuse to simply let it go
6) that i don't want to bog myself down to my JOB every day of every year like every other AMERICAN
