i'm bloody tired. hella tired as denise would say. microsoft has teamed with aol and the makers of javascript to keep me from the web and make my life one big unsolvable problem. if anyone knows why my version of internet explorer 6.0 won't read javascript, or why my version of opera 6.1 won't read java, please let me know.
if i was less tired i would give dan an html ass-kicking for suggesting to all the readers of his site that i am a fan of jeff blauser. he is the worse cub signing in my life time. he brought nothing but horror to those who saw him in cubbie blue and i wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy.
i meant to write something really good and profound and funny here. damnit. one hellishly long day teaching in the middle school and i'm reminded all over again of the languid lethargy and walking weariness that is an educator's life. it is very possible i will be offered an 8th grade teaching position effective immediately. its only a 12 week gig. i don't care what anyone says, teaching is the most tiring, thankless job on the planet. if you are lucky the students energize you, but you get so weary of being consumed by it that all you want is a quiet place to sit and think for a long time. i never saw that before. i'm desperate for a distraction.
still, like erich says, its better than working at steak and shake. i know. trust me.
