Don't you love it when employers tell you they will call the next day, so you wait around all day thinking the phone is going to ring, and you stay offline, and you don't even go outside, only to discover at 12:43am that they still haven't called? I got a job serving at Steak and Shake but I have to go through all sorts of orientation and training. The orientation involves watching 70's videos about the restuarant, the training involves having someone show me how to do things and passing tests on all the stations. So I'm supposed to wait for a phone call about when I can get orientated and when I can get trained, only the phone never fucking rang. Three weeks without employment, three weeks and 40 places. Goodwill didn't want me. Goodwill! Now I'm looking at one job already, with a second at Christo's and a third at Panera. What do these things have in common? They all have to do with food service of some sort. I said I wouldn't work in fast food, but look at me. I guess that's the only industry hiring right now.

I'm pretty tired. I think I'll sleep soon. I did so much today to merit being tired, I tell ya. I need to start working out regulary, somehow I've put on weight the last 2 weeks. Now I know I've been about as active as a donut, but I haven't even bought food, and I'm running out. How can I be gaining weight if I'm eating less? Ah, another great mystery in life.
